Event Highlights:

In 2020 MTR Corporation commenced the design of the first of the Railway Development Strategy 2014 (RDS-2014) railway extension projects, the Tung Chung Line Extension. Since then, further projects have moved into the design phase. As MTR Corporation embarks on this new cycle of railway extension projects, this event provides an excellent opportunity for all members of the China Hong Kong Railway Institution (CHKRI) to get an appreciation of the future workload and opportunities, as the leadership team of the MTR Corporation’s Capital Works Business Unit presents the portfolio of upcoming projects.

In this event, engineering / construction industry practitioners will be able to obtain firsthand information about the new railway projects, including key project information, challenges and potential risks, as well as expectations on the supply chain. Also, the CHKRI members will be able to make use of this opportunity to exchange views and ideas with the leadership team of the MTR Corporation’s Capital Works Business Unit.
