Technical Seminar – MTR PWay New Technology
The maintenance engineering of MTR Permanent Way (PWay) has embraced several new technologies. In this seminar, we will present the latest advancements in robotic PWay condition survey, DGTMS (dynamic track gauge monitoring system), SPIRT (smart passenger instrumented revenue train), inspection robot, and E-patrol. This seminar offers a valuable opportunity to explore these cuttingedge technologies, which have the potential to significantly enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety in railway maintenance and operations.
Speakers
Mr. Ricky Fung is the PWay Integrity Assurance Manager of the Hong Kong Transport Services in MTR Corporation Limited. Ricky is now managing the integrity of the operating tracks with diverse engineering means and methods.
Mr. Johnathan Tse is the PWay Maintenance Manager of Kwun Tong Line, Tseung Kwan O Line and Tsuen Wan Line in MTR Corporation Limited. Johnathan arranges for preventive maintenance, track monitoring and incident handling along the three lines.
Mr. Derek Mok is the PWay Maintenance Manager of East Rail Line and Tuen Ma Line in MTR Corporation Limited. Derek is also responsible for the preventive maintenance, incident handling and monitoring on tracks along the two lines.

Successful registrants will be notified in due course. The TEAMS link will be sent on 12 October 2023. Certificate of Attendance will be issued to paid-up members ONLY.
